Discover the Personality in Every Piece: New Ceramic Sculptures and Pots by Tipton Art

At Tipton Art, every piece has a story, and it all begins on a picturesque hobby farm surrounded by nature’s beauty. Nestled in a peaceful rural setting, this farm is more than just my home—it’s the heart of creativity and connection. From the large, art studio to the animals living on the farm, the environment infuses each ceramic creation with inspiration, soul, and a love for life. My latest collection of face sculptures and one-of-a-kind ceramic pots continues this tradition, bringing fresh, vibrant energy to these contemporary art pieces. The newer face sculptures capture the diverse emotions, cultural shifts, and personal stories that define America in 2024. Each piece is more than just a work of art—it’s a one-of-a-kind testament to individuality and the human experience.

I hand-sculp every face, with the intention of telling a story through its expression, and reflecting emotions that resonate with our shared journey—hope, resilience, joy, introspection. My designs are inspired by the cultural currents of today, celebrating diversity, change, and the beauty of human connection.

Each face sculpture that I create is more than just an art piece—it’s a character brought to life in clay. I work to detail each face to carry expressions that evoke curiosity, calm, drama, or even a sense of whimsy.

I want the viewer to have a connection with each piece: These sculptures explore themes of individuality and the human experience, making each face feel as though it’s looking back at you, inviting you to engage with its personality.

"Where can I hang them?": I frequently get this question. Hang these sculptures indoors to add a conversation piece to your living room, or outdoors to create a soulful and unique garden retreat.

My new collection of ceramic pots takes functionality to an entirely new level. Inspired by Jena Bedson’s playful yet thoughtful approach to pottery, each pot is a masterpiece in itself. These pots are perfect for housing plants, displaying flowers, or standing alone as statement pieces. They’re as versatile as they are striking.

Art is deeply personal, and these sculptures and pots are created with the intention of forming connections. Whether it’s the quiet gaze of a ceramic face or the inviting form of a handmade pot, each piece is designed to resonate with its owner.

I hope you will explore my most recent works and consider bringing one into your life and home.
